- 92% sodium formate: The sodium formate content is not less than 92%, the color is white crystal, and may be slightly agglomerated.

- 98% sodium formate: Sodium formate content is not less than 98% and is white crystal or powder. Compared with 92% sodium formate, it has higher purity, fewer impurities, and may be purer and more uniform in appearance.

They are all white crystals or powders with a slight smell of formic acid. They are easily soluble in water and glycerol, and slightly soluble in ethanol. Their aqueous solutions are alkaline, with a melting point of ≥253°C and a boiling point of 360°C. However, due to its higher purity, 98% sodium formate may have more stable and superior performance in some application scenarios.
